|Recommended: YesLoud but worth the price for madison — Overall a good apartment. A little noisy with contruction at the moment and the location of the garbage means every time the truck comes you will be woken up but maintenance gets problems done quickly and most questions get answered in a timely manner
|Recommended: YesGreat location and balance of cost and quality. — I love living so close to everything on Monroe Street. It's a great location for living without a car, but there is also plenty of street parking when needed. The one bedroom unit is the perfect size for my husband and I as newlyweds, and the big kitchen with a dishwasher allows me to enjoy my hobby of cooking and baking.
|Recommended: YesNice location and building has more potential A bit disappointed with move-in and still waiting on repairs to our bathroom — Nice-ish but not new. Our bathroom was in horrible condition even the maintenance guy was appalled from all the problems and the appearance of the toilet stains however he installed a new toilet right away. Still waiting since move in date to have our shower bottom redone as everything was coated in hard water residue. Upon arrival, the faucet in the bathroom didn't work and neither did my bedroom light shower barely turned on the water and dripped all night. Also the carpets were not deep cleaned and I know because I broke out severely for two days due to cat allergies from previous owner until they deep cleaned the carpet. Other than that the building itself is in decent condition they did a great job with the paint. Definitely could make a lot of cleaning improvements with common areas like removing junk in basement from previous tenants and cleaning down there looks like it hasn't been cleaned for the past 20 years . Then people would have a nice place to store bikes and stuff poor use of space. All in all it's a nice location and they did respond in a timely manner to our maintenance requests--very appreciative. Still waiting on our bathtub shower to be repaired which was leaky, coated with slimy residue, stained severely from hard water, and still hardly able to turn on the water. Again, love the location and price is appropriate so I don't want to complain too much Nice staff too
|Recommended: YesGreat Apartment in Madison — A house is a place to live, a home is a place to love, This place has become my home.
|Recommended: YesCute, parking would be nice — cozy, no parking, laundry outside
|Recommended: NoMeh — The rent is probably higher than I would like to pay for an apartment this size, especially with cabinets falling off the wall and tepid hot water.
|Recommended: YesCute and Eclectic Home — I love living in Monroe Manor The units are adorable, original, and you will feel right at home here
|Recommended: YesIt is a very updated, clean, and comfortable space — I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a renter in Monroe Manor. For being right on Monroe Street, and between Edgewood and UW's campuses, it is extremely quiet and private. Steve Brown staff have been the most accommodating and helpful that I've experienced as a renter in Madison - bar none.
response from property -That's great to hear, Elizabeth. Thank you for the feedback!
